I bet you didn’t think there was such a thing. Well, there is in, err, my mad world. And, I’m using mine tonight!
I spent the afternoon with Iz spending our accumulated gift cards at Crabtree & Evelyn, Sephora, and Target. Needless to say, we just got home, got her homework done, and now she needs my help assembling the Barbie pool. Due to her wanting me to function as Construction Manager, I am now the “greatest Mom in the world.” It’s good to be great even if it is only to install a Barbie pool!
I know I could have posted nothing this evening, which I’ve done in the past, but I wanted my diehard readers (and, have I told you lately that I love you?) to be informed. I know if nothing materializes here that you worry or send me emails in the evening saying, “Where the blog?!” So, just to set the record straight this evening, I haven’t joined the circus, I’m not on Route 495 biking to George’s nor have I been taken hostage by a band of “Just Say No to Sephora” terrorists!
Anyway, try hard to follow my logic here; today’s blog is Saturday’s blog (nil), today’s blog becomes tomorrow’s blog, and Saturday’s blog will be something. Iz wants to make a Mother’s Day movie this weekend. That’s my girl! ♥
The “end blog soundtrack” is dedicated to my partner-in-vintage-crimes, the lovely Ms. Sucra. I hadn’t listened to this CD in a while. I pulled it out today and fell in love with it all over again.
I am a devoted mother of two wonderful children, a writer (technical by day and creative by night), an avid baker and crock pot goddess (♥ Sucra), a runner and a cyclist, a rescuer of pets, a vintage fashionista, and a dispenser of social glue.
